So... we had a great time in January of 2025, but... did you know...?
9 days before the event, someone trademarked the name and asked us to pay them a licensing fee. We made an attempt to present a counter-offer and to negotiate, but those efforts failed, so we’re re-branding the event. "HHL" is going back to an old name that we used once before in January... the "Sailor Jerry Birthday Bash".
Please join us again in January 2026 under the new name but same great vibes.
This website is paid up for a few years so we will leave it as is, but the best site
to use going forward will be our original sister site... SailorJerryFestival.com
as well as the Sailor Jerry Festival social media accounts. ( IG and FB )
Essentially we're creating a sunrise edition -- Sailor Jerry Birthday Bash
centered around his birth
and keeping the annual summer sunset edition -- Sailor Jerry Festival
marking and honoring his passing.
